Greatness of Sita Devi
Sita was the princess of King Janaka from the place Mithila. Some mythological references quote that Sita was the daughter of Bhuma Devi- Mother Earth and she was found in a furrow by the King and raised as his own daughter. Lord Rama married her after breaking a bow called, Pinaka which was part of the swayamwar event. After marrying Lord Rama, due to unpleasant circumstances, Lord Rama was exiled from his own kingdom. Sita Devi has been a devoted wife of Lord Rama, stood by his side, calm and composed. Regardless of Lord Rama dissuading Sita not to join him for the exile, She whole heartedly accompanied Him in the exile period. She is an epitome of love and devotion.
